Ensuring that your Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) pass the required regulatory hurdles for source level monitoring applications by federal, state and local air regulations is no easy task. At Sage, we understand the challenge completely.

These rules all require that your CEMS pass a relative accuracy test audit (RATA) and a seven day drift test. This can no doubt be an intimidating process. But you don’t need to do it alone. The first CEMS were actually ambient air analyzers – needless to say, they were not very successful. More and better CEMS options began to be developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s in both Germany and the U.S. Some of the latest CEMS developments include quantum cascade laser and FLIR technologies.
